I was recently fortunate enough to be asked to be a judge at the Australian Fashionistas Model Search and it was a sensational night with some fantastic new talent talking to the runway.

As I was there early I got the chance to visit one of the pop up stalls that were located just inside the door upstairs at the Raffles that really grabbed my attention.

Silver Chilli Jewellery comes from local jewellery designer Carolyn Baird.  What she has created is a great range of really affordable and stylish jewellery that looks great both on and off the runway.

Her designs are bold, beautiful and striking all at once and the price point makes it easy to understand why this is becoming really popular for any one who comes across the range.

Each piece in the collection is proudly designed in Australia, and from what I saw of the collection it is designed for maximum impact.  It looked great on the models on the runway but also looked good on the people in the room who were also wearing it.  The range encompasses delicate earrings, quirky dress rings, gorgeous Silver Chilli neck pieces and  you would be hard pressed not to find something that really impresses.

Some of it is very simple and other pieces more complex but each and every one of them is a real treat and the design background from Carolyn comes to the fore with each piece in the collection.

Some background about Carolyn – with a love of all things fashion-related, being a former hairdresser and florist, she has combined her passion for beautiful products with her creative flair to design this truly unique range of sterling silver jewellery.

Each piece in the collection is made from high quality 925 sterling silver, so it will last for years without looking worn and tarnished.  There are pieces for both men and women…more for women than men but the lots of it is also unisex so can be worn by either.

I encourage you to head to the website and check out the jewellery on display…on the night we purchased two pieces and I have not stopped wearing them since then!

I love to support local WA designers across the board and here is yet another great local designer working hard with a vision and also a great range behind her!
